Project Healthy Arrival is a campaign aimed at raising awareness about the high infant mortality rate among Black babies Michigan which is more than twice the rate for Latino, Asian, and white babies.  In addition, Black birthing people are also more likely to experience life-threatening conditions, as well as increased incidence of other pregnancy-related complications like preterm birth and low birth weight.  We endeavor to bring attention to this issue and give information on where to go for help.
