WE ARE STILL ON ASSIGNMENT.

   Last night, WVTC Detroit did not take home the Stellar Award for Internet Radio Station of the Year. We know many of you voted, prayed, and supported us, and we sincerely thank you. We are okay.

   An award is not the measure of God’s favor or the value of our assignment. We will continue to live for Him, serve Him, and pour into our WVTC Detroit listener family.

   To our show hosts: this outcome does not diminish your work or the gifts you graciously share with our listeners each week. We honor and appreciate you.

To our listeners and supporters, keep listening, watching, supporting, and praying that we complete the assignment God has given us.

   Sunday, we go right back to work—encouraging, uplifting, and offering Christ through word and song.

   The award would have been nice and shiny, but it was never necessary to do the work. That’s not why we started WVTC Detroit.

   It was then, it is now, and it will always be about Jesus Christ.

   Our focus has not changed, our assignment has not changed, and our commitment to Christ has not changed. We are still on assignment.
